One of Utah’s unique customs is the requirement that all full-service bars must be called “private clubs.” All this means is that a membership is required before a patron may enter a lounge. Often times these are simply cover charges in other states. Temporary memberships that are valid for 3 weeks are $5 and a yearly membership is $12. Both types can be purchased at the door upon arrival.
